Ronnie Keith Roper

Ronnie Keith Roper, 57, of McRae, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 24, 2011. He was a 1972 graduate of McRae High School and played basketball for the McRae Trojans. Ronnie was an avid Oakland Raiders football fan and loved to hunt and fish. He was employed for Hiwasse in Jacksonville for 25 years before his health forced him to retire. It was during this time that he met his wife and loving partner of 35 years, Glenda Sue Roper. He is also survived by his mother, Robbie Roper, his sister, Debbie Nance, and his brother, Rickey, all of McRae; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by his father, Warner "EJ" Roper. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
