Jeffrey M. Richmond

JEFFREY M. RICHMOND, born Aug. 3, 1952, passed away in Little Rock, Ark., on Dec. 9, 2010. A memorial service is being planned in his honor for this summer in Portland, Ore. Jeff was born and raised in Portland, Ore. Independent at the young age of 16, he put himself through school. He first attended the University of Oregon and graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1976, with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Jeff moved to Little Rock, Ark., in 1978, and for the next 32 years, he worked in the life insurance business. He became certified as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and an Independent Financial Consultant (ChFC). For the past 13 years, he was an independent agent for Midland National Life Insurance Company. Jeff will be remembered for the good-natured fortitude he displayed during his long illness and throughout his life. He has a sharp memory, a quick wit and always a kind word for all. Survivors include his wife, Adele Richmond; sons, Peter and Philip; daughter-in-law, Suni; sister, Margaret DeAngelo and brother, Phil Richmond.
