Robertine Alexander

ROBERTINE ALEXANDER, 92, of Sherwood, passed away on Jan. 25, 2011. Robertine was a resident at Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she participated in ever activity available to her. She occasionally played the piano for the residents at the nursing home and was an avid "Bingo" player. When her health was good, she attended the Eighth Street Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Robertine is survived by one son, Richard (Mercedes) Alexander, a brother, Owen (Thelma) Simpson of Gardenia, Calif.; four grandchildren, Bruce (Nicole) Alexander of Killeen, Texas, Keith Alexander and Michael Alexander Jr. of St. Louis, Mo. and Michelle Alexander of Texas. Six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at Ashbury United Methodist Church, 4001 Maffitt Avenue, St. Louis, Mo. 63113.
