Ethel Laffoon

Graveside services for Ethel Laffoon, 78, Branson will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Little Rock, Ark. Minister Scott Taylor will officiate. Mrs. Laffoon passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at her home in Branson. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson. Ethel moved to the Branson area in 1981 from Little Rock to be closer to her daughter. Ethel was in shoe sales both in Little Rock and Branson.. She attended the Geyer Springs Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark. and the First Baptist Church in Branson, Mo. Ethel was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Minor and Verdiree Cullins; her husband, Eulas Laffoon; her son, Keith and three siblings, Dean, Deloyce and Donald. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Copeland and husband, Michael of Branson, Mo.; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, from 2-3 p.m. in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
