James E. Moore

James Edward Moore, 85, of North Little Rock, Ark., departed this life to live with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2011. Jim was born May 19, 1926, in Morrilton, Ark., and lived most of his life in North Little Rock, Ark. At a young age, Jim became enthralled with airplanes and worked for American Airlines in Little Rock, flying to many exotic locations, until his retirement in 1982. Blessed with a long and happy retirement, Jim found pleasures in simple, outdoor activities, such as salmon fishing in Colorado, RVing with his wife, Iwilda, and elk hunting in Montana. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Iwilda Winegar Moore, his daughters, Rebecca Priester and Sue Ball Montgomery, his three grandsons, Chris Harris, JR, Andrew Harris, and Mike Montgomery, and his two great-grandchildren, Caelex Harris and Zoey Harris. Jim's family wishes to celebrate his life with friends and family during a visitation from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. (501) 835-3515. Services will be held in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Internment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Levy, Ark.
