Shirley Fewkes

Shirley Fewkes of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. She was born on December 12, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Walter and Hazel Graff. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a secretary with Birnbaum-Annum Insurance Company and later retired as a secretary with Selected Funeral and Life Insurance Company. She was predeceased by her husband, Riley Fewkes and one brother, Warren Graff. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Betty Fewkes of Grant Park, Illinois, one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Greer of Mabelvale, Arkansas, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at First Christian Church with Reverend Steve Willis officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
