Geraldine Stevens Cingolani, 84, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Woods Nursing & Rehab in Monticello. She was born September 9, 1926 in Warren. She was a former telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing dominos and was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late Arthur E. Stevens and Willie Mae Stewart Stevens and was preceded in death by two brothers, Doris Stevens and Raymond Stevens and four sisters, Pauline Rivilion, Virginia Mooney, Catherine Minchew and Margie Jones. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Orlando Cingolani of Monticello; one son, Ronnie Cingolani and wife, Tambara of McGehee; four daughters, Ann Irons and husband, Shirl of Baton Rouge, La., Cathy Aswell and husband, Wayne of Choudrant, La., Connie Steele and Jerri Craven and husband, Ronny all of Monticello; one brother, Billy Joe Stevens of McGehee; one sister, Ione Louise Whitlow of Clarksville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with burial in McGehee Cemetery. Memorials to: St. Mark's Catholic Church Building Fund, 1016 N. Hyatt, Monticello, Ark. 71655.
