Mary Louise Langrell

Mary Louise Richter Langrell, 90, of Central City, Penn., formerly of Pine Bluff, died at her daughter's home, Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Pine Bluff to Otto R. and Mary L Carrington Ritcher. She was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School, and attended Monticello A&M College. She worked as a clerk at Kress for 28 years, and as a Cashier at Reed Collier Drug for 10 years. Mrs. Langrell was a member of First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, while living in Pine Bluff, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, and President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of AARP, and the Art Center Community Concert. After moving to Pennsylvania, she spent six months each year with her son and six months with her daughter. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, in Johnstown, Penn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daniel F. Langrell, and a sister, Lurena Feltner. Survivors are her daughter, Danna L. McDannell, of Central City; son, John R. Langrell, of Lyman, Maine; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Cecelia Mercer, of Dubach, La. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. David Harris and Rev. Rick Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, by Ralph Robinson and Son. The family will receive friends at Robinson's, Monday, 5-7 p.m., and one hour prior to the service, at the church.
