Billy Gene Sullivant

Billy Gene Sullivant, 54, of Mabelvale, died June 26, 2011 at UAMS in Little Rock surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born May 3, 1957 in Danville, Arkansas to Billy and Thelma Corbin Sullivant. Billy graduated from Mills High School in 1977 where he excelled in Art and Athletics. Billy loved to draw and will be remembered by his many friends for his specially made Halloween cards he sent out each year and for those brilliant blue eyes of his. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arley and Lucille Corbin of Danville; paternal grandparents, Horace and Anna Jo Sullivant of Little Rock and Chester Ray also of Danville. Survivors include his wife, Kandace Mathews; stepsons, Steven and James Carter of Little Rock; grandsons, Steven Jr. and Michael Carter of New York; parents Billy and Thelma Sullivant; brother Jimmy Sullivant; sisters Kelly Sullivant Owens and Phyllis Sullivant all of Little Rock and other extended family members. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at UAMS CV ICU and Coumadin Clinic. A graveside service and burial will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Earl Ladd Cemetery in Danville, Arkansas.
