Lothar E. Ferrell

Lothar E. "Charlie" Ferrell, 65, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, died suddenly on June 24, 2011. Charlie was born March 21, 1946, in Germany. Charlie had a large host of friends. He was retired from the United States Air Force and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4548 in Jacksonville. Charlie's hobbies included working jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and fishing and camping. He is survived by one son, Charles Ferrell of Hasting, Pennsylvania, and by his adoptive family of David and Ida Mae Rockenbach of McRae, Arkansas; four nephews, Eddie and Earlene Roberts of McRae, Martie and Kim Roberts of Beebe, Glenn and Judy Partridge of Cave City, and Rick and Trish Partridge of Cleveland, Tennessee, and by seven great-nephews. Family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com.
