MARY LEE MOORE HAY of Maumelle, Ark., passed into life eternal on March 4, 2011. Mary was born to John and Nanny Moore on May 3, 1926, along with her twin sister Margie. She was the widow of Henry A. Hay Sr. They were married on Sept. 2, 1941. Mary was a member of First Baptist church of Mayflower, Ark. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; and brother, Ernest Moore; sisters, Carmen Rainwater, Florine Eslick, Corna Lynch, Pauline Davis, Margie Wells and Bea McKinney. She has one surviving sister, Dottie Speights (Bob). She was the loving mother of her four children, Peggy Thompson (Hugh), Wanda Beck (Joe), Henry Hay, Jr. (Linda) and John Hay (Connie) and grandmother to six grandchildren, Cindy Sorrells (G.W.), Jill Johnson (John), Tiffany Sparks (David), Doug Vick (Carrie), Jason Hay (Jennifer) and Rebecca Jackson (Zach), and great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, Wallace Ann Sorrells, Dub Sorrells, Tucker Sparks, Bear Sparks, Ann Claire Johnson, Eli Johnson, Cannon Hay and Griffin Vick. Visitation will be held from 6–8 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72117 (501) 835-3515. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel with burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
