Richard William Miller

Richard William Miller, age 56, died March 4, 2011, at Jefferson Regional Med. Center. He was born Feb. 3, 1955, in DeWitt, Ark. to Horace Miller and Mavis Hedden Miller Kennedy. Richard was employed by the Cotton Belt Railroad for 23 years and farmed with his step-father. Richard is preceded in death by his father, Horace Miller; grandparents, James and Helen Hedden and Virgie Forrest. Survivors include: Wife, Donna Sablan Miller of Watson Chapel; mother and step-father, Mavis and Murell Kennedy of Gould; two sons, Shawn Miller of Fayetteville, Scotty Miller of Bentonville; two step-sons, Christopher Brian of Tyler, Texas, Zach Brickley, USN of Norfolk, Va.; half brother, Rodney Kennedy of Grady; sister, Debbie Tankersly of Dale, Texas; half sister, Stacy Kennedy of Fayetteville; six grandchildren and a number of relatives and friends. Funeral services are 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Essex Funeral Home, 1405 S, Grandview Dr., DeWitt, Ark. 72042. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens, DeWitt, Ark.
