Harold "Buddy" Cold

HAROLD "BUDDY" GENE COLD, age 74, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011. He was born March 30, 1936 to the late Harold and Nancy Cold in Coral Gable, Fla. He was an appliance repairman in Jacksonville for over 50 years. He loved fishing, NASCAR, playing pool, gardening, and tinkering. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Lewis Cold. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ruth Cold; children, Angie Marie Garringer and husband Gilbert, Deborah Sue Whitaker, Karen Lynn Clark; step-children, Walter Rueger, Billy Girdler, Susie Girdler, David Nelson; one sister, Mary "Shuggy" Katherine Cold; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136 with Martin McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
