Frances G. Crane, 79, a resident of Pine Bluff, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Trinity Village Medical Center. Born January 31, 1932, in Dardanelle, she was a daughter of Lee Roy and Clara Eunice Lynch Grimes. Mrs. Crane was reared and received her early education in Carden Bottom. She was a graduate of Arkansas Technical College. Mrs. Crane taught at Watson Chapel Academy. She had been the wife of the late Dr. Henry A. Crane, Jr. Mrs. Crane was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church. Mrs. Crane was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Betty Lyons, Roy Grimes, and JoAnn Sacrey. Survivors include one son, Stephen Crane of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Michelle Crane of Greenwood; two daughters, Marilyn Crane of Cotter, Arkansas, and Carol Crane of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Tyler Crane of Little Rock, Alainna Knubley of Lavaca, Arkansas, and Lindsey Crane of Ft. Smith; one sister, Nancy Bostian of Richmond, Virginia. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Reverend Pam Estes officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday in Oakland Cemetery, 8th and Detroit Sts. in Russellville, with Reverend Leslie Willis of Parkway Place Baptist Church in Little Rock officiating and under the direction of Ralph Robinson & Son.
