Rex Roy Kuykendall

Rex Roy Kuykendall, 93, of Little Rock passed away on March 1st, 2011. He was born in Oxley, Arkansas on February 4th, 1918. A World War II veteran, he served in Europe including Germany and France. He was preceded in death by his parents Ada Barnes and John Monroe Kuykendall; his wife of 43 years, Juanita Moore Kuykendall; his brothers Gus, Ralph, Earl, Joel and Frank; his sisters Ruth and Madge. Rex was a homebuilder for 56 years who loved gardening, fishing, hunting and reading. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Joyce Etchison of Harrison; his son, Rex Glen Kuykendall of Little Rock, daughter, Nora Lee Hays and husband James of Maumelle; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank Arkansas Hospice for their loving care. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice in lieu of flowers. Memorial Services will be on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the activities building at First Baptist Church Maumelle,120 Millwood Circle. Graveside Services will be announced at a later date.
