Donald Eugene Rhodes Jr.

Donald Eugene Rhodes Jr. 60, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. He was born April 12, 1950, in De Queen, Arkansas. Don graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, Conway. He retired from the Army Reserves, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was the Senior Director, Risk Management Policy at the American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C. Don is survived by his mother, Lavon Rhodes of Benton, Ark.; his father, Donald Rhodes Sr. and his wife of Plain Dealing, La.; one brother, Michael Rhodes of North Little Rock, Ark.; three sisters, Diana Barr, Janice Rhodes, Shirley Holt and her husband, Will Holt all of Benton, Ark. He is also survived by six nieces, Stacy McBain, Jennifer Altom, Stephanie Johnson, Melissa White, Hannah Howland and Kristin Rhodes; eight great-nieces and nephews and many close friends around the country. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 21, at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, North Little Rock, Ark.
