Bonnie Jean Lee Hudson, 79, of Quitman, passed away Sunday, March 20, at Presbyterian Village, Little Rock. Born July 29, 1931, in Damascus, Arkansas, to the late William and Edna Lee; she was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Gary Hudson; and a sister Faye Rogers. Jean was a member of Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was very dedicated to her church and Community. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband Joseph Doyle Hudson of Quitman; daughters: Diane McEntire, and husband Gene of Little Rock; Sherri Thompson and husband Gary of Marion; son Carey Hudson and wife Kim of Conway; grandson, Stephen Thompson; granddaughters, Michelle Irby, Susan Brower, Carie Leann Gobbell, Caitlin Hudson; five great-grandchildren: Christopher and Jessica Irby, Schuyler Brower, Brent and Tyler Gobbell, sister, Billie Bond of Little Rock; brother, Harold Lee of South Carolina; step-brother, K.C. Dowdy of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many extended family members and friends. Jean's family sends special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and Presbyterian Village Nurse's for the excellent care given to their mother. Funeral 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, at Sand Springs Church.
