ATTICUS FERRELL "HANK" SNOW JR., 77, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his Jacksonville home. He was born Sept. 1, 1933 in Oakdale, Tenn. to Atticus Ferrell Snow Sr. and Rita Pearson Snow. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years as a weather forecaster, and later worked for the National Weather Service for 27 years as a meteorology technician. He was a member of the NRA, and loved animals. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jane Snow; children, Cheryl Horton, David (Shawn) Snow, Lisa Snow, and Daniel Snow; sister, Elaine Ritter of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, with Chaplain Gary McCormick officiating. Visitation will be 6–8 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
