Jeanine Springer

Jeanine Springer, age 78, of Fayetteville died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Fayetteville. She was born in Hills, Iowa on February 4, 1933 to Lincoln and Josephine Dolezal Smith. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville and was the secretary in the Accounting Department for the College of Business at the University of Arkansas for 22 years. She was the initial staff sponsor of the Association of Black Accountants at the University of Arkansas. She was on the executive committee of the M & N Augustine Foundation since its inception. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Springer and one brother, Robert Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Springer of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons, John Springer of Fayetteville and Mark Springer and his wife Sharon of Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren, Andrew Springer, Sarah Springer and Charles ("C.J.") Springer. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Moore's Chapel. Rosary service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville with burial at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
