Willie C. Morgan, 92, of Los Angeles, formerly of Scott, Arkansas, departed this life Friday, March 18, 2011. His funeral was held at the United Christian Church under the directions of Angelus Funeral Home of Los Angeles, California. He was a World War II Veteran. His company was a part of the famous Normandy Beach Invasion. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Earline; two sisters, Elsie Lee Glover and Lillie Mae Holmes; three sisters-in-law, Rannie Morgan, O'Lessie Moore and Freddie Whitehead; two brothers-in-law, Samuel Stafford, Emerson Stafford; five grandchildren, Veronica, Lorraine, Felicia, Melanie and Tracy. He is also survived by three stepchildren, Teddy, Susan, and Kay, seven step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Celebration Services, 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 522 North Hickory Street, North Little Rock. Interment: Pea Ridge Cemetery, Scott, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home, 374-3134.
