Betty Henricksen Pruniski

BETTY HENRIKSEN PRUNISKI, 88, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Betty was born to the late Arve and Zoe Dwyer Henriksen in Detroit. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Pruniski, Jr.; sisters, Tense Wilder and brother, Arve Henriksen. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed reading and being with her family. She looked forward to her Thursday Bridge Club. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her son, Jack Pruniski and wife, Mary Jane of Little Rock; one daughter, Ann Parker and husband, Don of Little Rock; grandchildren, Brian J. (Julie) Pruniski, Jeff Pruniski, Beth (Chris) Barlow, Jeremy (Stacy) Colburn; two great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Barlow and Irene Colburn; one sister, Dot Morgan and one brother, Karle Henricksen both of Mobile, Ala.; and a host of other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark., Father James West officiating. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 501-791-7400, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at Woodland Hills Healthcare and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice for the loving care provided to Betty.
