Mary Opal Moritz

Mary Opal Moritz, 89, widow of Edgar Moritz, passed away Friday. She retired from the packing department in Riceland after 26 years and also worked in the fabric department at Wal-Mart for several years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors are daughter, Jeanne (Jerry) Wallworth of Stuttgart; son, Bobby (Linda) Moritz of DeWitt; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Lone Tree Cemetery Chapel with visitation at Turpin Funeral Home from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. www.turpinco.com
