Charlie J. Cleaver

Charlie J. Cleaver, 84, of West Point, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 of respiratory complications. He was born October 3, 1927 in Georgetown, Arkansas to the late Sammie and Minnie Cleaver. Mr. Cleaver was a member of the West Point Baptist Church; Masonic Blue Lodge; Scottish Rite; and Eastern Star. His parents, one sister and four brothers precede him in death. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Emo Jean Cleaver of the home; son, Chet Cleaver and wife, Adriana of Arnold, MD; three daughters, Carolyn Bailey of Searcy, Ark.; Barbara Johnson of West Point, Ark.; Nancy Cleaver Adams of Almyra, Ark.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Smith of West Point, Ark.; brothers, Sammie Cleaver of Georgetown, Ark.; Tommy Cleaver and Chester Cleaver of Kokomo, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2011 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy, Ark. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at West Point Cemetery.
