DeAnn Ward Clouse, 52, of Valrico, Fla. passed to God's Eternal Kingdom, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is immediately survived by husband, Perry Clouse, daughter, Morgan Clouse, mother, Doris Ward of Little Rock, Ark., two step-children, and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, L. Dale Ward. "Bunny" was a passionate life-long educator in corporate and public education. She was a member of Chi Delta sorority and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Quachita Baptist University in Arkansas. At the age of 27, she served on the Pulaski County School Board in her hometown of Little Rock, Ark. DeAnn excelled in the corporate world at AT&T, as Asst. Vice President of TCBY in Little Rock and as a Learning Performance Manager at Steelcase in Denver, Colo. prior to her public education career in Florida. As an elementary educator, she inspired many young children with a desire to learn and excel. DeAnn was a Godly wife and role model mother. Many lives were positively impacted by her faith and the way she courageously and tenaciously took on life's opportunities and challenges. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, Fla., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 3 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cimino Elementary PTA/DeAnn Clouse Student Scholarship Fund, 4329 Culbreath Road, Valrico, Fla. 33596.
