Martha Kohlmeyer

Martha Fitzgerald Kohlmeyer, 92, widow of Louis Kohlmeyer, died Tuesday, November 1. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church and volunteered for many years as its membership secretary. Known as "Miss Martha" she also volunteered for over 20 years at Memorial now North Little Rock Baptist Hospital. Martha was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, one of whom was Hazel Dean Cook, Martha's best friend throughout her life. She is survived by her nephew, Gary Dean, his wife, Robin, five great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was a much loved member of the Dean family and truly will be missed. Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 6701 JFK Boulevard, North Little Rock, 72116. The funeral will be Friday, November 4, at 2 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
