Sherril Shook Boyd

Sherril Shook Boyd, 56, of Benton went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2011 with her family by her side. Sherril was born on May 5, 1955 in Pecos, Texas. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Benton where she was always willing to help in any way that she could; though she loved taking care of the babies in the nursery. Sherril was a very loving wife, mother and grammy; she was always bragging on her family that she loved so dearly. Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Dilworth. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Charles Boyd; two daughters, Sarah LeClercq (Paul) and Rebekah Prince (David); two sons, Timothy Boyd (Kate Allen) and Jonathan Boyd (Renée Round); five grandchildren, Nathanael, Ethaen and Kathrynn LeClercq and Lela and Josiah Prince and one on the way, Alexae LeClercq; one brother, Glenn D. Shook; her father, Glen Shook and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly. A celebration of Sherril's life will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church Missions Fund.
