Susan "Susie" Roberts Patton

Susan "Susie" Roberts Patton, 46, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Mrs. Patton was a native of Crossett; a resident of Hamburg for the past 14 years and a former resident of Newark. She graduated from Crossett High School in 1983 and she attended Louisiana Tech, the University of Louisiana at Monroe and South Arkansas University. She graduated from the University of Arkansas Gateway Technical College in 1997. She attended North Main Baptist Church in Hamburg and she was a 4-H Leader and loved her 4-H kids. She loved caring for her animals and was an avid hunter and fisherman. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph & Mattlene Roberts and Paul & Eb Henderson. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Mike Patton Sr. of Hamburg; two sons, Joshua Patton of Hamburg and Michael Patton Jr. and wife, Jody, of Crossett; her parents, Harold and Martha Henderson Roberts of Crossett; a brother, Jason Roberts and wife, Kim, of Crossett; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barnett and Kimberly Patton; three special nieces, Lauren Rice, Lindsey & Harley Roberts and 15 nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, at the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Carlock Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Harold & Martha Roberts residence, 288 Ashley 304 Road, Crossett.
