Thomas "Tommy" Gene Kemp

Thomas "Tommy" Gene Kemp, born August 27, 1942 in Wooster, Ark., son of Elvis Kemp and Thenious (Holloway) Maxwell, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Carlisle, Ark. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents and brother David Maxwell. He is survived by his wife Sally Kemp; son Stephen (Marshena) Kemp; daughter Diana (Michael) Battenfield; seven brothers: Marvin (Jackie) Maxwell, Billy Maxwell, Jim (Helen) Maxwell, Paul (Anna) Kemp, Cecil (Patsy) Maxwell, G.E. (Brenda) Maxwell, Danny (Gloria) Maxwell, four sisters: Chris (Don) Fitzhugh, Lou (Billy) Madden, Donna (Dan) Rutherford, Tina (Joe) Guy; sister-in-law Carol Maxwell; many nieces and nephews; and six granddaughters. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Boyd Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Michael Battenfield. Burial will follow at Carlisle Cemetery.
