Ava Louise Loetscher

AVA LOUISE LOETSCHER, age 90, a lifetime resident of Little Rock, died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She and her husband, Raymond, started Loetscher's Body Shop and Garage in 1947. They were members of the Arkansas Traveler's Antique Car Club and enjoyed traveling in their vintage automobiles. She was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Louise loved to bake cakes and her cakes were enjoyed by all. She is survived by her twin sons, Ray Loetscher and wife, Judy of Little Rock and Clay Loetscher and wife, Connie of Benton; three granddaughters, Cindy Darnell and husband, Cliff of Lonsdale, Denise Chiarizzio of Hot Springs, and Pamela Huspen and husband, Jim of Chicago; three great-grandchildren, Chase Chiarizzio of Hot Springs, Todd Stone of Chicago, and Carlee Darnell of Lonsdale; and a sister, Henrietta Cataldo and husband, Charlie of Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Paul Loetscher Sr.; her father, Henry John Buddenberg, and her mother, Ava Irene Buddenberg; two sisters, Anna Odom and Juanita Stone of Mayflower; one daughter-in-law, Ann Loetscher of Benton; and one great-granddaughter, Courtney Darnell of Hot Springs. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Fr. Michael E. Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Monday with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 501-661-9111.
