Mary Louise Carter

Mary Louise Carter, 76, of Little Rock, passed away on November 19, 2011. She was born October 9, 1935 to William and Luella Thrower of Fordyce, Ark. Mary was a loving mother and wife. She was employed at Timex for 21 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Carter Sr., her parents, her sister, Erma Matthews, her brothers, Thomas Henry Thrower, Claybon Thrower, brothers-in-law, Elijah (Juneboy) Smith, Donnell Carter, Eugene Carter and sister in law Geraldine Manning. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Carter Jr. (Elvira) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Terry (Mildred) Carter of Little Rock, Ark., her two daughters; Dewinda Annette Carter and Jacquelyn (Thomas) Stephens of Little Rock, Ark., two brothers; George Thrower of Fordyce, Ark., and Lewis Thrower of Little Rock, Ark., one sister; Cora Jean Lowe of Detroit, Mich., special cousin, Jeanette (Aaron) Vaughn of Detroit, Mich., sisters-in-law; Wilma Smith and Dorothy (Henry) Epperson both of Little Rock, Ark., and Vera Faye Owsley of Kansas City, Mo., brothers-in-law; Charles Carter and Elder Mitchell Hines (Linda) of Little Rock, Ark. The family would like to thank UAMS Physicians and Nurses for the care and love they showed to Mary. Family Hour in honor of Mary will be held Friday November 25, 2011 from 6 til 7pm and Funeral service will be Saturday, November 26, 2011, 12 noon both to be held at Greater Christ Temple Pentecostal Church at 1200 Bishop Warren Dr.Little Rock.
