Anna Kate McDaniel Shoemaker

Anna Kate McDaniel Shoemaker, age 87, widow of H. Holden Shoemaker, died Sept. 29, 2011. She was a retired employee of Reynolds Metals Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Alma McDaniel. Survivors include, sons, Holden Lynn Shoemaker, Bryant, Terry Noland Shoemaker, Sherwood; seven grandchildren; sisters, Clovis Harrell, Canton, Texas, Leonora Green, Bryant, Jo Lawrence and husband Turner, Benton, Sue Black Perry and husband Homer, Little Rock; brother, Darrell McDaniel and wife Pat, Oxford, Miss. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan by Ashby Funeral Home. Minister will be Rev. Phillip Miller and music by Mike Paulk. Visitation will be held following the services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist church in Bryant. Pallbearers: Shannon Berry, Earl Wells, Mike Lawrence, Jerry Harrell, Robert Tettleton, and Doug Dobbs. Honorary pallbearers: Noah Shoemaker and John Ferguson.
