Henry Edward "Hank" Davis

Henry Edward "Hank" Davis, 59, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, under hospice care in Fountain Lake after a brief battle with brain cancer. He grew up and attended school in Jacksonville, Ark. He was an electrician and practiced his trade in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and lastly, Alabama. He was easy to know, and quick with a clever story. He was kind to all people he met, regardless of their stature in life. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry J. Davis, and his mother Lena M. Davis. Hank is survived by two sons, Robbie Davis and Cole Davis; two brothers, Jerry Davis of Hot Springs and Jack Jones of Bryant; aunts, cousins, and nieces. The family would like to thank Dierksen Hospice of Hot Springs, Fountain Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center, and his cousin, Forest Sims and his wife, Shirley, for the warm and personal care that they provided him. A private service will be planned at a later date.
