Harvey Eugene Barger

Harvey Eugene Barger, 88, of Quitman, passed away on Oct. 1, 2011. He was born on Aug. 21, 1923, married Darlene Gee Nov. 26, 1946, and had four children. Preceded in death by parents Ed and Mamie Barger, two sisters, and a grandson, he is survived by his wife Darlene; daughters, Sheryl Finn, Gayla Chapman; sons, Kent and Terry Barger; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers; four sisters; and many extended family. Visitation is Oct. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home Chapel, Heber Springs. Funeral service will be held Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. at Pines Baptist Church, Highway 25.
