Milburn Lee Isom

Milburn Lee "Bud" Isom, 85, a resident of Russellville, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1926, at Morrilton to Milburn and Sarah Effie Jones Isom. He grew up and went to school in Pine Bluff and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1946. He worked at the Pine Bluff Boy's Club for 44 years where he served as director for several years. He loved all sports and was a true Razorback fan and was a member of the Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernice Tuck Isom; and a special nephew, John E. Jehlen. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Ellen Jehlen and Ida Chambliss, both of Russellville; a step-son, Ross Tuck and his wife, Vickie, of Victoria, Canada; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews, Jordan Jehlen of Guy, Carol Jehlen of Russellville, Mike, Lindi and Hayden Wade, all of Jonesboro, David, Jessica, Drake and Brody Morris, all of Russellville; and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff with the Rev. Roy Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
