Raymond Hackett
Raymond Hackett, age 91, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Clinton, Ark. He was the son of the late Willie and Myrtle Jemerson Hackett. He was a retired air craft technician. He was a highly decorated World War II U.S. Army veteran, having received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon and one Bronze Star Co 23 Hq, (two Purple Hearts) USAFFE 45 Purple Heart GC 8 Hq 43rd Inf Div 45 Good Conduct Medal, AP Service Ribbon with four Bronze Service Stars and one Bronze Arrowhead. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen, Fred, and Freeman (twins), and Harold Hackett; also by an infant sister. He is survived by his brother, Ephe Hackett (Eva) of Shirley, Ark.; nieces and nephews.
