Catherine "Cathy" White

Catherine "Cathy" Welfield White, 64, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home. She was born November 24, 1946 in San Diego, Callf. She was a retired bookkeeper for Delta Regional Department of Corrections and was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Robert Welfield and one brother, Larry Welfield. Cathy was a kind and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and a "Jewell" among her friends. Survivors include two sons, Richard Wakefield and wife, Cheryl of Ciblo, TX and Jance Cook and wife, Maggi of Mesquite, Texas; one daughter, Cari C. Berry and husband, Ron of Monticello; her mother, Irene Loving Shultz of Monticello; one sister, Nancy Maltsberger of Monticello; twelve grandchildren, Ashlee, Ryan, Heather, Cody, Jenna, Jance Patrick, Asa, Hannah, Alissa, Brendon, Justin and Ashton.
