Christine Tharp Morris

Mrs. Christine Tharp Morris age 96, former long time resident of Forrest City, Arkansas died Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mrs. Morris was born July 8, 1915 in Forrest City. She was the daughter of Jessie Joyner Tharp and Sadie Anna Macon Tharp. Mrs. Morris was a housewife and a member of the Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church in Forest City. Mrs. Morris was married to Carl Harrison Morris in 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Crockett Morris Gauthier and husband Beau of Springdale and a grandson, Christopher Carl Goddard of Fayetteville. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by a daughter Sara Lou Morris Roberson in 1995. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
