Helen Marie Kavanaugh

HELEN MARIE KAVANAUGH, age 87, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011. She was born in Sheridan, Ark., on Jan. 20, 1924. Marie was raised and educated in Rison, Ark. She was a registered nurse for over 40 years at Baptist Health Medical Center. Marie was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, in 1991. Marie is survived by two sons, Steve (Michelle) Kavanaugh and Rick Kavanaugh, of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Drew (Barbara) Kavanaugh, of Lancaster, Pa., and Kelly (Jason) Imhoff, of North Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Kavanaugh and Hannah Kavanaugh, of Lancaster, Pa. There was a private family graveside service conducted by the Reverend Camille LeBron. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gary Collins and the staff on 9A at Baptist Health in Little Rock for their professional and compassionate care. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
