Margaret "Margo" Langley

MARGARED "MARGO" LANGLEY, 69, of Sherwood, passed away on Oct. 29, 2011, at Hospice Home Care, Little Rock. Margo is survived by her daughter Susan Langley and grandson, Colby Langley, of Little Rock; her brother, Robert Pritchett and wife Joann, of Sherwood; nephew, Cory Pritchett and wife Alex; and grandniece Adelaide Pritchett, also of Sherwood. Margo was born May 4, 1942, in Century, Fla., to the late Hunter and Jewell Murphy Pritchett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Langley. Margo retired from the Arkansas Insurance Department, Employees Benefit Division, where she was a claims administrator. Diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease, in August, 2010, and she continued working every day until January of this year. Her hobbies included spending time with her much loved grandson, Colby, in addition to gardening, reading, and visiting the Smokey Mountains in the Fall. She was a member of Little Rock's First Baptist Church and former member of Second Baptist Church, El Dorado, Ark. Margo enjoyed being independent and planned accordingly. At her request, she wanted a private family service with "no fuss." She always said that she knew where her final heavenly home was and didn't want folks to make a deal with a funeral service and flowers, but wanted her friends and family to remember her as a Christian and true friend. In addition, she requested that any memorial gifts be made to the First Kid's Division, Little Rock's First Baptist Church, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, 72112. Funeral arrangements are made through Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark., 72116, 501-791-7400. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/owens.
