Michael Lee Bowden

Michael Lee "Mike" Bowden, of Sheridan, Ark., was born April 16, 1951, at Little Rock, the son of Loretta Sutton Bowden Brown and the late Rudy Bowden. He was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ark., and was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal, enjoyed collecting and riding motorcycles, and also gardening. Mike enjoyed guns and was also a competitive marksman and was a member of the NRA. Mr. Bowden died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 60. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Michelle Bowden. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Durham Bowden, of Sheridan; son, Ronnie Michael Bowden and wife Ashley, of Arkadelphia; daughter, Maegan Mooney and husband Jimi, of Sheridan; parents, Loretta and Ray Brown, of Redfield; brother, Gary Bowden and wife Maureen, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Tristin Wood, Neeley Bowden, and Micah Mooney. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating.
