Norman Bryan Gilden, 69, of Conway, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, in Little Rock. He was born Feb. 11, 1942, in Elizabeth City, N.C., to the late Norman Grady Gilden and Marian Marie Davis Gilden. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, retired from Molex, Inc., in Maumelle, and a member of First Christian Church. He loved riding his motorcycles and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Herschel Marion DeArmond, and a granddaughter, Alyssa Gilden. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Scott Gilden, of the home; two sons, Norman H. Gilden and his wife Tammy, of Conway, and Bryan Gilden and his wife Gwen, of Olive Branch, Miss.; two sisters, Charlene Grant, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Faith Elwess, of Tucson, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Samantha Nolen, of Conway, and Nicholas Gilden, of Olive Branch. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, with Brother Dale Scott officiating.
