Thomas Outlaw

Thomas "Tommy" Outlaw, 66, of Pine Bluff, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 8, 1945, in Dermott, Ark., he was a son of the late William Edgar Sr. and Bonnie Lee Gibson Outlaw. He was reared and received his education in Watson, Ark., graduating from Watson High School. Mr. Outlaw worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad, now Union Pacific Railroad, for over 15 years as a car knocker and brakeman before his retirement. He was a member of the Church of the Firstborn. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenneth James Outlaw; and three grandchildren, Charity, Rice, and Brianna Outlaw. Survivors include his sons, Keith Edgar Outlaw, of Lexington, Okla., and Kyle Ray Outlaw, of Magnolia, Ark.; his grandchildren, Jacob, Elijah, Cristian, Andrew, Matthew, and Aubrielle Ray Outlaw; his former spouse and mother of his children, Rena Outlaw, of Pine Bluff; his brothers, Ben Outlaw, and wife, Pat, of St. Peters, Mo., Ed Outlaw, and wife, Kathy, of Olathe, Kan., Milton Outlaw, and wife, Rhonda, of Lexington, Okla., and Charlie Outlaw, and wife, Julie, of Colon, Mich.; and his sister, Betty Gatlin, and husband, Bob, of Benton, Ark. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the Church of the Firstborn with Brother David Sloate and Brother Gary Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
