Hattie F. Armbrust

Hattie F. Armbrust, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Living Center. She was born May 22, 1922, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Martin J. and Mattie Armbrust. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers, Carl, Bernard, Paul, and Jake Armbrust; Ned, Andy, Roy and Horace Stafford. Ms. Armbrust was a devout Christian. She made a career of child care for many families, in the Heights and Pleasant Valley areas. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Stafford of Little Rock and her nephew, Jack Holtzman of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Oakland Cemetery, with The Reverend Holly Patton officiating. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. 501-661-9111.
