Charles F. Farmer Sr.

Charles F. Farmer Sr., age 70, of Lake Village, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born Dec. 17, 1940 in Starkville, Miss., to the late Patrick H. Farmer and Ernestine J. Gaylor. He was an engineer and a Baptist. Survivors are his wife, Barbara Menotti Farmer of Lake Village; son, Chuck Farmer of Lake Village; daughter, Patricia Ballard and husband Mike of Clinton, Miss.; two brothers, Ricky and David Farmer both of Greenville, Miss.; a sister, Sarah Rodgers of Greenville, Miss.; and a grandson, Tristan Ballard of Clinton, Miss. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at Bishop Funeral Home with Rosary Service at 6 p.m. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village. Burial will follow in St. Isadore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
