Tennie Roten Edwards, 92, of Magnolia, Arkansas died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Magnolia. She was born October 26, 1918 in Sage, Arkansas to the late Samuel Daniel and Arzona Mae (Womack) Roten. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edwin Edwards; brother, Dean Roten; and her sister, Adah Dieter. Survivors are her daughter, Kathryn Dickson of Magnolia, Arkansas; son, David Charles Edwards and wife Elizabeth of Hernando, Mississippi; brother, J.M. Roten of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; grandchildren, Angela Smith of Maumelle, Arkansas, Lynn Buck and husband Lee of North Richland Hills, Texas; Reese Lewis and wife Tabitha of Magnolia, Arkansas, Rhonda Hasley and husband Rick of Memphis, Tennessee, Kathy Edwards of Hernando, Mississippi, and Rick Edwards of Washington D.C.; great-grandchildren, North, Heath, and Riley Lewis all of Magnolia, Arkansas, Charlie Buck of North Richland Hills, Texas, Alyssa Kline and Taylor Hasley both of Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 30th at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Gayle Bone officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
