Emmett Davenport

Emmett Davenport, 79, of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Little Rock. He was born on July 30, 1932 in North Little Rock and was the son of Eugene and Loy Davenport. Emmett was the owner and manager of B&D Auto, he was a fan of NASCAR and the Razorbacks, he loved spending time with his wife, grandkids and dog. He is preceded in death by his parents, a loving wife, Ruby Davenport, an infant daughter, a great granddaughter, and a brother-in–law. Survivors include his two daughters Geri Dozler, and Christi Lytle (Mike); five grandchildren Shannon Long, Mark Huff, Randi Long, David Miles, Ashley Dozler; seven great-grandchildren including his little buddy Honeyman, and one on the way; and a sister, Jerry Gwyn. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
