Mary Belle Jones

Mary Belle Jones age 77 of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord Sunday, April 1, 2012. She was born December 26, 1934 in Thomas, Oklahoma to the late L.E. Jackson and Hazel Matthews Jackson. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1953. She retired from Fist Arkansas Bank and Trust and was Past State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth R. Jones and a brother, L.E. Jackson. She was a loving mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters; Linda Sipes of Jacksonville, Pamela Johnson and her husband Bryan of Round Rock, Texas, one sister, Ila Thayer and her husband Ed of Thomas, Oklahoma, brothers and sisters-in-laws; Kerrol Jackson of Alma, Arkansas, Dennis Jones and his wife Retha of Cedarville, Arkansas, Donna Sue Thomas and her husband Charles of Mountianburg, Arkansas, Edgar Jones of Van Buren, Mary L. Jones of Van Buren, grandchildren; Leslie Ivy, Laura Henderson and her husband Will, Cameron Johnson, Briana Johnson, great-grandchildren; Jonathan Ivy, Devon Henderson, Hannah Henderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Bro. Cliff Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
