Willie Lee Boone

Willie Lee Boone 86, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on March 31, 2012. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Katherine Boone; five children, William R. Boone (Helen) of Waynesville, Missouri, Gerald Wayne Boone (Barbara), Karen Boone Rosby (Jimmy) of Sherwood, Arkansas, Debra Boone Flowers (Everette) of Scott, Arkansas and Michael Boone of Sherwood, Arkansas; two brothers, Jerry Boone II (Essie) of Chicago, Illinois and Eddie Boone of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Mattie Boone Collins of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Bettie Boone Arnold (Percy) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012, 1:00pm, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Roosevelt & Main St. Little Rock, Ark. Interment will be Monday, April 9, 2012, 10 a.m., with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation: Thursday, April 5, 2012, 7:30-8:30 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St. LR (501) 372-1305. In Lieu of flowers, the family request contributions are made to Alzheimer's of Arkansas or Agape Ministries Project Uganda Africa.
