LILA JUNE CATON, 86, of Little Rock passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. She was born in Fort Smith, Ark. to the late James and Lila Laveina Hatley. June was a vibrant person who enjoyed crossword puzzles, gin rummy, sewing and cooking. She loved to read Heloise books. She worked for many years as a legal secretary for the State of Arkansas and was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Caton; her daughters, Donna Hollihan, Beverly Perry, Vicky Lee and Sunny Marie Malone; her grandson, James E. Taylor and her parents James and Lila Hartley. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Shirley (Adean) Pierce of Texarkana, Ark., and Janie (Kenneth) Houck of Bigelow; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 9 with the service to begin at 11 in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. 72002. (501)455-1067.
