Arthur William Krumbach Jr.

The Rev. Dr. Arthur William Krumbach Jr., 82, son of Arthur William Krumbach and Harriet Joella Roszel, passed away on Good Friday, April 6. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; children, Tom (Krow) Krumbach and wife, Debbie, Deb Lewis and husband, Don, Matt Krumbach and wife, Jun Yi Lai and Kelly Robinson; grandchildren, Luke Krumbach, Jacob Lewis and Maddie and Mason Krumbach; sisters, Carol Maybee and Jean Azar; husband, Ahmad; and several nieces and nephews. Fr. Bill was as retired Episcopal priest having earned his Master of Theology from University of the South, Sewannee, Tenn. He served parishes in Conway, Clinton, Clarksville, Mena and Paragould, as well as being chaplain to students at ASU (Jonesboro), UALR, UCA and Hendrix, and the UCA football team. He earned a Ph.D in Forestry from Michigan State University and worked as a U.S. Forest Service Research Project leader in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas. As a Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, he served his country as a Radar Officer in Japan, California and Washington state. In Conway, he was a founding member of Human Services Center for West Central Arkansas and for Conway Council for Youth Opportunities. Fr. Bill spent many happy hours sharing coffee with friends at Ed's Bakery in Conway. His family is looking forward to friends joining in a casual celebration of his life at 2965 Billy Jack Dr., No. 1, Conway, from 2-5, Saturday, April 14. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice or a favorite charity.
